Josh hails from Gisborne where he spent most of his time growing up on the beautiful east coast beaches. As you would expect, Gisborne is also where Josh entered the Drinking Water Industry as a Water Treatment Operator working for the Gisborne District Council. After fulfilling his training goals and spending some time reflecting whilst completing the Outward Bound classic course, Josh completed further studies in Civil Engineering and utilised this knowledge in a number of different roles related to Water Supply and Wastewater.
Ready for a new challenge, the move to Taranaki in 2012 was a natural fit. Josh initially worked as an Engineering officer then found a home as a specialist Drinking Water Advisor for the Taranaki District Health Board. After completing time in the Drinking Water Assessment sector, Josh finally decided with encouragement from friends and family, to start Wai Comply Limited with Matt in 2017.
In his free time, Josh loves whanau time with his wife and two children. He is an avid sportsman, and loves all things related to the ocean.
Grateful for both the personal and working relationships formed over the years, Josh is excited to offer a service that could assist all sectors of the Drinking Water Industry in ensuring public health.
