Scott is a Technical Assessor with over 20 years’ experience in environmental health science, specialising in drinking-water safety and the implementation of evidence based best practice. He has developed specific expertise in the areas of drinking water quality, water safety planning, and drinking water standards having worked across several environmental settings in New Zealand and overseas. His early career included local government and district health board roles in the North Island followed by specialisation in drinking water safety and quality, including supply assessment work across the Te Whanganui-a-Tara region. Prior to joining Wai Comply, Scott held a Senior Public Health Scientist position at WSP consultancy. This followed a senior drinking water advisor role with the Ministry of Health.

Interests

In his spare time Scott is found honing his skills in gardening, tramping, snowboarding and dog walking.
