There are two pathways to achieving compliance:
Pathway 1 – Meet the requirements of the Water Services Act 2021 in full (requires a Water Safety Plan and Source Water Risk Assessment).
Pathway 2 – Utilise an Acceptable Solution pathway which is tailored specifically to smaller supplies using groundwater (e.g., bore water) or roof water as its source, or where the water is used primarily for farming purposes.
